“We wanted to thank you all so very much for making our wedding on the 17th so lovely. We both kept intending to make our way over to you to express our pleasure and appreciation and can’t believe we let you slip away before doing so. Everyone felt your music was the perfect addition to a gorgeous day, and we thank you for taking so much care with your playing.”

“The Mes Amis String Quartet is a wonderful group. I got this recommendation from another Wedding Channel bride and they were great! They played music during the ceremony and also during the cocktail hour. My guests said they really enjoyed them. I was busy taking pictures during the cocktail hour so I never got to hear them play but people told me they were great. Wendy is the person in charge and she is such a nice person. I wanted the string quartet to play ” I Will Be Here” by Steven Curtis Chapman and Wendy took the music and transformed it into string music so the quartet could play while a good friend of mine sang during our candle lighting. Both my husband and I were in tears during the song. I have a list of other string quartets I can dig out if you want additional contacts but I was happy with the Mes Amis String Quartet and highly recommend them.“

From weddingchannel.com: “Wendy Davis, leader of Mes Amis String Quartet, went above and beyond the call of duty here. She listened to, and wrote out three songs for us…Benny’s entrance music, the music for the Best Man ( Dave Matthews #34 ) and ” When I’m 64″ by the Beatles for the recessional. If you need a quartet, please talk to her. I can’t tell you how easy and wonderful they are to work with!”
